Saudi Arabia GP 2024 - Sainz and Bearman's points

Hello,

I know people who had Sainz for the Saudi Arabian GP, seeing as he was replaced last minute with no warning, can the people with Sainz in their team have Bearman's points applied to them? I believe this has happened in the official F1 fantasy game, so hopefully it can happen here. If Sainz hadn't scored any points in FP1 then he could have been replaced, unfortunately he did so couldn't be swapped out.

 Hi Neil,

The rules for this season don't allow automatic driver replacement and I'm not quite sure this is the best option.

I'm thinking of something like number of substitution per season even the driver has scored but still not automatically.

If you have other ideas I will be more than happy to discuss them.

Hello,

My only thought is that after the event of a driver change during a race weekend, the team owner gets the option to change driver and have their points, but it counts towards one of your changes before the next race. I think it would be fair if they could have at least 48 hours after the race to decide this though, in case they are away that weekend. If the driver hasn't scored any points the team owner could make the change during the race weekend, but they need to be following the practice session closely; I don't always get time to log in during the weekend to see how my team is going, so I imagine others are the same.
