Yes i know that but what does it matter? Drivers wont earn that much points, I see that only thing that you want drivers to do is earn money (unless you have Hamilton/Rosberg which case you get some points from there but u are forced to use very "weak" engine and chassis parts so when using those drivers who actually score points, you end up losing much more in car part section than you are winning in drivers points)
For example, I had Nasr in Sepang. after race i could easily calculate that Nasr will lose value by 640 000, at the same time I knew that Verstappen had good weekend and calculated that his value will increase by 900 000. So I bought Verstappen making money 1 540 000 this way when prices changed. Now i had to have Verstappen in my team for next race, but it doesnt matter anything because drivers who are in this price pool (10 000 000 - 14 000 000) are very unlikely to score more than 4 F1FG points per weekend. So in last race (China) Verstappen didnt do that well, but now Nasr had good race so again i calculated that Verstappen will lose value by 590 000, and same time Nasr would have 580 000 value increase, so i sold Verstappen and bought Nasr making 1 170 000 money this way compared to situation where i would have kept Verstappen.
So at the moment I'm using one solid driver who is earning ~1 000 000 per race weekend and just "flipping" between weaker drivers based on their results. So my team is basically made by just looking result list of last Grand Prix, and it has nothing to do what i think will happen in next race. And same thing happens with these guys who are just buying best possible car parts and cheapest drivers, they just try to keep those car parts as long as possible and slightly downgrade team after each race, not trying to predict happenings of next race.
When rules are changed you should make drivers to earn more points also. And for very good example to this one: In Sepang where Vettel actually won that race player Ummarita (team name Ta Uan F1) had Sebastian in his team. Player Ummarita had combination Vettel and Nasr as drivers, in car parts he had Mercedes engine and Saubers chassis. He got total 53 points in that weekend (without bonus points).
In that same race "best result" was made by player Alborada (team name El Resurgir De Alborada) who had Verstappen and Nasr as drivers and Mercedes engine and chassis. He made 61 points (without bonus points calculated).
So who predicted that race best? Player who had surprise winner in his in team with good engine or player who just bought best engine/chassis and cheapest drivers? I think it was the first one, but even when Vettel won GP, Mercedes engine/chassis combination still made more points.
